Coronation Street's Carla Connor to make shock return? Actress Alison King spotted filming in Weatherfield

Alison King, who plays Carla Connor in Coronation Street, has been spotted filming in Weatherfield, sparking speculation that her character could be making a shock return to the soap.

King was seen filming scenes with Vicky Myers, who plays her on-screen sister, Michelle Connor, on Rosamund Street, which is the location of the Rovers Return pub.

Carla left Weatherfield in 2016 after struggling to cope with the death of her husband, Aidan Connor.

It is not yet known whether Carla's return will be permanent or just a temporary visit.
