Raising panto magic for Zoe's Place
Zoe's Place Baby Hospice is set to benefit from a special performance of Aladdin at Middlesbrough Town Hall as it celebrates a year of partnership with the theatre.
The two organisations have been working together since January 2022, and the pantomime is the latest in a series of fundraising events and activities that have been held throughout the past 12 months.
Zoe's Place provides palliative, respite, and end-of-life care for babies and infants aged 0-5 years who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.
Money raised from the performance will help the charity to continue providing its vital services, which include specialist nursing care, emotional support, and bereavement counselling.
"We are so grateful to Middlesbrough Theatre for their continued support," said Zoe's Place Fundraising Manager Sarah Hauxwell.
"The pantomime is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of our work and to raise vital funds that will help us to continue providing care to babies and infants with life-limiting conditions."
Middlesbrough Theatre's Chief Executive, Matthew Henderson, said: "We are delighted to be working in partnership with Zoe's Place and to be able to use our platform to help raise awareness of their work.
"The pantomime is a great way to bring people together and to celebrate the festive season, and we hope that everyone who comes along will enjoy the show and will be inspired to support Zoe's Place."
Tickets for Aladdin are on sale now from Middlesbrough Theatre's website.
The performance will take place on Saturday 17th December at 2pm and 7pm.
