San Antonio Spurs Head Coach Gregg Popovich met with the media following the team's 103-95 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night. Here is a transcript of his post-game comments:

Opening Statement

"Well, that was a good win for us. We played hard and we played together. We got a lot of contributions from a lot of different guys, and that's what we need to be successful. We're still a young team, but we're learning and we're growing. And we're starting to figure out how to win together.

On the team's defense

"Our defense was really good tonight. We held them to 38% shooting, and we forced 17 turnovers. That's what we need to do to be successful. We need to make it tough for teams to score, and we need to create turnovers. And we did that tonight."

On the team's offense

"Our offense was a little bit stagnant at times, but we made some big plays when we needed to. We got some big shots from Dejounte Murray, and we got some big rebounds from Jakob Poeltl. And that's what we need to do to be successful. We need to make plays when we need to, and we need to rebound the basketball.

On Dejounte Murray

"Dejounte was great tonight. He had 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. He's a special player, and he's one of the best young players in the league. He's a leader for us, and he's going to be a big part of our success in the future.

On Jakob Poeltl

"Jakob was also great tonight. He had 14 points and 12 rebounds. He's a force on the boards, and he's a great defender. He's one of the best young centers in the league, and he's going to be a big part of our success in the future.

On the team's overall performance

"Overall, I'm really happy with the way we played tonight. We played hard, we played together, and we got a win. We're still a young team, but we're learning and we're growing. And we're starting to figure out how to win together.
