Government announces new details of £750 one-off payment for DWP PIP claimants
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has announced new details of the £750 one-off payment for DWP PIP claimants which was announced in May 2022. The payment will be made to those who are in receipt of PIP (Personal Independence Payment) as of 25 May 2023.
Who is eligible for the £750 payment?
To be eligible for the £750 payment, you must have been in receipt of PIP as of 25 May 2023. This includes people who are in receipt of the daily living component, the mobility component, or both components of PIP.
When will the £750 payment be paid?
The £750 payment will be paid automatically to eligible claimants from early September 2023. The payment will be made directly into the bank account that you receive your PIP payments into. You do not need to take any action to claim the payment.
What if I have not received the £750 payment?
If you are eligible for the £750 payment and you have not received it by the end of September 2023, you should contact the DWP. You can do this by calling the PIP helpline on 0800 121 4433 or by visiting the DWP website.
