Next Man Utd Manager Odds: Who is favourite to replace Erik ten Hag as manager?
Erik ten Hag is under increasing pressure at Manchester United after a poor start to the season, with the Red Devils currently 12th in the Premier League table.
A number of managers have been linked with the job should Ten Hag be sacked, with Mauricio Pochettino, Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann among the favourites.
Manchester United are reportedly considering Mauricio Pochettino as a potential replacement for Erik ten Hag, with the Argentine understood to be keen on a return to the Premier League.
Pochettino has been out of work since leaving Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, and has previously been linked with the Manchester United job on several occasions.
He is a popular figure among United fans, having led Tottenham to the Champions League final in 2019, and is seen as a manager who can get the best out of young players.
However, Pochettino is not the only manager in the frame to replace Ten Hag. Luis Enrique is another strong contender, having impressed during his time in charge of Spain.
Enrique led Spain to the semi-finals of the 2020 European Championship and the final of the 2021 Nations League, and is known for his attacking style of play.
Julian Nagelsmann is another manager who has been linked with the Manchester United job. The German has impressed during his time in charge of Bayern Munich, winning the Bundesliga title in his first season in charge.
Nagelsmann is a highly-rated young manager, and is seen as one of the most promising coaches in Europe.
It remains to be seen who will replace Ten Hag if he is sacked, but the next Manchester United manager will have a big job on their hands to turn things around at Old Trafford.
