Malik Beasley scored 25 points and D'Angelo Russell also had a 25-point night to help power the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 113-104 victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.
Karl-Anthony Towns added 20 points and Anthony Edwards chipped in 16 for the Timberwolves (30-27), who snapped a two-game skid.
Jalen Green led the Rockets (13-44) with 27 points, while Kevin Porter Jr. and Eric Gordon added 19 apiece.
Turning Point
The Timberwolves took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Rockets 34-23 to take a 10-point lead into the fourth.
Minnesota's defense was much better in the second half, holding Houston to just 15 points in the third quarter.
