Liverpool put Jurgen Klopp's £4m mansion up for sale after Arne Slot rejects chance to move in

Jurgen Klopp's luxury mansion on Merseyside has been put up for sale after the Liverpool boss failed to convince Arne Slot to move into the property.

Klopp had hoped to entice Feyenoord boss Slot to Anfield by offering him the use of his seven-bedroom home in Formby, which boasts a gym, pool and cinema.

But Slot turned down the offer to replace Klopp at Liverpool, opting to sign a new contract with the Dutch club.

With Slot out of the running, Liverpool have now decided to sell the mansion, which is on the market for £4 million.

The property is described as a "truly exceptional" home that offers "unparalleled luxury and privacy".

Upstairs, there are seven bedrooms, including a master suite with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom.

It is set in landscaped gardens with a patio, a barbecue area, and a fire pit.

Liverpool are reportedly looking to sell the mansion in order to raise funds for their summer transfer kitty.

The club is keen to strengthen its squad ahead of the 2023/24 season, and the sale of the mansion could help to finance some big-money signings.
