Kings, Reviver Announce New Multiyear NBA Jersey Patch Partnership
Sacramento to Sport Reviver Logo Beginning Next Season
Deal Marks 1st Patch Partnership in Kings Franchise History
The Sacramento Kings and Reviver have announced a new multiyear jersey patch partnership beginning with the 2023-24 National Basketball Association (NBA) season. The partnership marks the first time the Kings will have a jersey patch partner in franchise history.
As part of the agreement, Reviver's logo will be featured on the left chest of all Kings jerseys, including those worn during regular season, playoff, and Summer League games. The patch will also appear on all official Kings merchandise, including replica jerseys, t-shirts, and hats.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but sources familiar with the agreement told ESPN that it is worth more than $10 million per year. The partnership is the latest in a growing trend of NBA teams signing jersey patch deals with corporate sponsors. In recent years, the Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, and Brooklyn Nets have all signed similar agreements.
"We are thrilled to welcome Reviver to the Kings family," said Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart. "Reviver is a global leader in its industry, and we are proud to partner with a company that shares our commitment to innovation and excellence. This partnership will help us connect with our fans in new and exciting ways."
"We are excited to partner with the Sacramento Kings, a team with a rich history and a passionate fan base," said Reviver CEO Amit Jain. "This partnership will provide us with a unique opportunity to reach a global audience and showcase our brand to millions of fans around the world."
The Kings are coming off a disappointing season in which they finished 30-52 and missed the playoffs for the 16th consecutive season. However, the team is optimistic about the future, led by young stars De'Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. The addition of Reviver as a jersey patch partner is another sign that the Kings are on the rise.
