Kid Thought He Was Going to the Dentist, But Dad Took Him to World Series Instead

A 6-year-old boy got the surprise of a lifetime when his father took him to the World Series instead of the dentist.

The boy, named Jackson, was supposed to go to the dentist on the day of Game 4 of the World Series between the Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros. But his father, Jason, had a different plan.

Jason surprised Jackson with tickets to the game, and the boy was thrilled. He had never been to a baseball game before, and he was amazed by the atmosphere.

Jackson's favorite player is Freddie Freeman, so he was especially excited when Freeman hit a grand slam in the fourth inning. Jackson caught the ball, and he was so happy that he started crying.

"It was the best day of my life," Jackson said. "I never thought I would catch a home run at the World Series."

Jason said that he was glad he was able to give his son such a special experience.

"He's a huge Braves fan, and he's always wanted to go to a World Series game," Jason said. "I'm so glad I was able to make his dream come true."

The Braves went on to win the World Series in six games, and Jackson will never forget the experience of catching Freeman's grand slam.
