Coleen Nolan has revealed she's "terrified" she'll be out of a job after Loose Women was axed from its usual daytime slot.

The lunchtime show has been moved to a new time of 3.30pm to make way for a new gameshow called The 1% Club later in the year.

Coleen, 57, admitted she's worried about what the future holds for her and her fellow panellists.

“It’s always been a worry since the show started 23 years ago that one day it would end,” she told The Sun.

"But the worry now has gone up tenfold because of the move. I do worry that it could be the beginning of the end. We’ve been through lots of changes over the years but this feels different.”

Coleen has been a regular panellist on Loose Women since 2000 and has become one of the show's most popular faces.

However, she admits that the show's recent decline in ratings has made her increasingly concerned about her future.

“The ratings have been dropping for a while and it’s hard not to notice,” she said. “I think the fact that we’re being moved out of our regular slot is a sign that the bosses are worried about us.

“It’s a horrible feeling to think that you might be out of a job, especially when you’ve been doing it for so long.

“I love Loose Women and I don’t want it to end, but I’m starting to think that it might be out of our hands.”

Loose Women has been a staple of ITV's daytime schedule for over two decades, but in recent years it has faced increasing competition from rival shows such as This Morning and The Jeremy Kyle Show.

The show's move to a new time slot is a clear sign that ITV is looking to shake things up in a bid to boost ratings.

However, it remains to be seen whether the changes will be enough to save Loose Women from the axe.
