Super Eagles Midfielder Targets Victory in Crucial World Cup Qualifier

Nigeria's Wilfred Ndidi has expressed his determination to secure a victory for his team in their upcoming World Cup qualifying match against Cape Verde in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Super Eagles are set to face Cape Verde on Tuesday, September 7, in a match that could potentially secure their qualification for the next round of the qualifiers.

Ndidi, who has been a key player for Nigeria in recent years, said that the team is well-prepared for the challenge and is confident of a positive result.

"We know that this is a very important match for us," Ndidi said. "We need to win to keep our hopes of qualifying for the World Cup alive."

The 24-year-old midfielder added that the team is focused on putting in a strong performance and securing the three points.

"We have a good team and we are confident that we can win," Ndidi said. "We just need to go out there and play our game."

Nigeria is currently second in Group C of the qualifiers, with six points from three matches. Cape Verde is third with four points.

A win for Nigeria on Tuesday would put them in a strong position to qualify for the next round of the qualifiers.

The match will be played at the Fatih Terim Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey, starting at 19:00 local time.
