Giants Inactives for Week 18 Matchup

Giants Rule Out Six Players for Week 18 Showdown

New York to be without key starters in season finale

The New York Giants have ruled out six players for their Week 18 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, including starting quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley.

The Giants other inactives are wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson, cornerback Adoree' Jackson, safety Xavier McKinney and defensive lineman Leonard Williams.

Jones is dealing with a calf injury that he suffered in the Giants' Week 17 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Barkley is nursing an ankle injury that has limited him in practice this week.

With Jones out, Tyrod Taylor will start at quarterback for the Giants. Taylor has started two games for the Giants this season, going 1-1.

Matt Breida and Gary Brightwell are expected to split carries in Barkley's absence.

The Giants are 9-7 this season and need a win over the Eagles to clinch a playoff berth.
