FC Cincinnati To Host NYCFC In MLS Cup Playoff Opener
Cincinnati's Team To Play New York City FC
The first round of the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs will begin on Monday, October 17th with FC Cincinnati hosting New York City FC at TQL Stadium. This will be the first-ever playoff game for FC Cincinnati and the first time they have hosted an MLS Cup Playoff game.
FC Cincinnati finished the regular season with a record of 12-9-13, good for 7th place in the Eastern Conference. NYCFC finished the regular season with a record of 19-5-10, good for 2nd place in the Eastern Conference and the No. 2 seed in the playoffs.
