Emmerdale actor opens up on 'love' for 'amazing' co-star as he returns after six years
Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has opened up about his 'love' for 'amazing' co-star Laura Norton as he returns to the soap after six years.
Kelvin, who played Andy Sugden in the ITV soap from 1996 to 2016, is reprising his role for a special episode that will air later this year.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Kelvin said: "I've always loved Laura, she's amazing. We've always had a great friendship and a great working relationship. It's been great to be back working with her again."
Laura, who plays Kerry Wyatt in Emmerdale, also spoke about her friendship with Kelvin, saying: "Kelvin's like a brother to me. We've been through so much together over the years, and I'm so glad he's back on the show."
Kelvin's return to Emmerdale comes after he left the soap in 2016 to pursue other projects, including winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.
Speaking about his decision to return to the soap, Kelvin said: "I'm really excited to be back. It's always been a special place for me, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Andy."
Fans of Emmerdale will be able to see Kelvin's return episode later this year.
