Cochise County Sheriff's Office confirms arrest
Golden State Warriors guard David Harris was arrested on weapons charges in Cochise County, Arizona, on Tuesday, according to the Cochise County Sheriff's Office.
Harris was booked into the Cochise County Jail on two counts of possession of a weapon by a prohibited person and one count of possession of marijuana.
Warriors release statement
The Warriors released a statement on Tuesday night saying they are aware of the arrest and are gathering more information.
"We are aware of the situation involving David Harris and are gathering more information," the statement said. "We will continue to monitor the situation and cooperate with the authorities as needed."
Harris has history of legal issues
Harris has a history of legal issues, including a 2014 arrest for marijuana possession and a 2017 arrest for driving under the influence.
He was also involved in a domestic violence incident in 2018 that led to the Warriors suspending him for one game.

The Warriors have a zero-tolerance policy for gun violence, and Harris' arrest could lead to a suspension or even termination of his contract.
