All 11 Man City Ballon d'Or nominees, four awards up for grabs with Rodri among favourites for top prize

Manchester City's dominance in the 2022/23 season is reflected in the Ballon d'Or nominations, with a record-breaking 11 players from the Premier League champions making the list.

The nominations, which were announced on Friday, include four players who are in contention for the top prize: Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, Riyad Mahrez, and Rodri.

De Bruyne is the favourite to win the award after another stellar season for City, in which he scored 15 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions.

Haaland has also been in impressive form since joining City from Borussia Dortmund in the summer, scoring 23 goals in 18 appearances.

Mahrez has been a key player for City for several seasons, and was named the Premier League Player of the Season in 2022/23.

Rodri is a less likely winner of the award, but he has been a key part of City's success in recent seasons, and was named the Premier League Player of the Month for September 2022.
